Synopsis: Savage Worlds is an award-winning, universal, generic role-playing game and miniatures wargame, written by Shane Lacy Hensley, and published Pinnacle Entertainment Group.
The game has simple character creation and emphasises speed of play and reduced preparation time over realism or detail.
Campaigns, feature a main storyline, presented as a series of "Plot Points" and additional side-quests (or "Savage Tales") expand the scope of the campaign. This format allow a group of characters to explore the game universe while playing through (or disregarding) the main storyline in a manner similar to that of role-playing video games.
Vinnie has put together a list of the potential settings for this rotation;
Deadlands: a horrific journey into the “Weird West.” Mysterious beings called the Reckoners have given life to monsters and magic, causing history to divert from July 4th, 1863 forward. The South has won its independence, California has shattered into a labyrinth of flooded sea-canyons, and a mysterious super-fuel called “ghost rock” has spawned as much war and strife as it has “steampunk” devices.
Players are steely-eyed gunfighters, card-slinging sorcerers called hucksters, mysterious shamans, savage braves, mad scientists, and more who battle against evil and attempt to prevent the “Reckoning”
War of the Dead: Where were you, the day the Earth died?
An unexplained cataclysm is infecting the world. Millions are dying and rising as flesh-consuming ghouls. Entire cities are roaming graveyards, and even the countryside is overrun with creatures in search of living flesh. Those remaining are banding together for survival, some seeking safety in numbers and others seeking to use their numbers to overpower and dominate the weak. It's a war for survival.
Chapter One begins aboard the maiden voyage of the Pinnacle cruise ship as the group first encounters the Living Dead. Unfortunately for the characters, having 3,000 people in such a confined space enables the Living Dead to spread quickly, and before they know it-they're forced into a battle of pure survival against a cruise ship overrun with zombies.
